Please don't buy Macs Many people say that corporate -and other- IT people recommend Windows as a means to secure their own jobs. John Gruber had a terrific go about this topic in one of his recent columns Good Times. If you ever happened to doubt this theory, here is a little quote to illustrate: On Friday, September 19, 2003*: >> I work on PC's for a living. And we recommend Dell to our clients. >> > And you recommend Dells because......????? > Because working on PC's allows me to continue working, and buying Macs for myself..... If all my clients had Macs, we probably would need half our techs. *This is an actual live quote from a mailing list I am subscribed to. So, please people, don't buy Mac's, think of all the poor IT guys and gals with their, oh so precious, MCSE certifications that will loose their jobs because of your irresponsible and reckless behavior.
